Butler County, Kansas
Boston Cemetery
The following information was obtained from the Butler County Historical Museum, El Dorado, Kansas.
This cemetery is on private property in El Dorado Township, SW ¼, Section 34, Township 26, Range 5E. The cemetery is located on a hill, fenced, and has four cornerstones that are very worn. In the center of the cemetery are two gravestones identical in size and much larger than the others. They are worn so badly by the elements that it was impossible to discern any information.
The land was owned by F.S. Boson in 1921 and is likely the reason the cemetery is called Boston Cemetery.
