Mr. Brandt was born April 11, 1931 in Norwich to parents, Dr. Paul and Helena (Butts) Brandt. He served in the Army National Guard. Dolan left his mark on Augusta and the surrounding area with his masonry work.

AUGUSTA - Keely, Gary M. "Sonny," 61, Buckboard Cafe co-owner, died Feb. 1, 2005. Visitation 10am-8pm Fri., with family present from 6-8pm; service 2pm Sat., all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Gary was born in El Dorado Nov. 8, 1943, the son of the late Aubrey & Lucille (Mullins) Keely. He spent most of his life in Augusta, until entering the Army in 1961. After leaving the military he returned to the Augusta area to pursue many business adventures. He was a founder of the VFW Memorial in Elmwood Cemetery and a lifetime member of VFW and American Legion. Gary married Julie McHone Oct. 19, 1965, she survives. Other survivors include: daughter, Sandy & husband, Kenny Meusburg er; son, Chuck & wife, Staci; sister, Bev Bolinger; grandchildren, Jon & Keely Meusburger, Alex, Jaci, Katie & Kelsey Edwards; stepmother, Kathryn Keely; 6 stepbrothers & sisters. In lieu of flowers, the Gary M. Keely Memorial Fund has been set up at White Eagle Credit Union, Augusta.

KENNEDY, RALPH W.

Ralph W. Kennedy, 75, of Valley Center, died Thursday Oct. 20, 1994. Services are 1 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery, rural Augusta.

He was born Oct. 21, 1918, in Bodarc, the son of Ralph Marion Kennedy and ADa Inez (Shafter) Kennedy. On July 23, 1946, he and Alma E. Frey were married in Tripp, S.D. He retired as leadman in the stock dept. at Coleman Co. Inc. in 1983 after working there for 32 years.

He was a member of the Valley Center American Legion Smith-Phipps Post 73. He served in the Army Air Force during WW II as a sergeant.

Survivors include: wife, Alma; daughters, Reta Heaton of Mesa, Ariz., Janine Voth of Valley Center; two grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

Memorials are to the American Diabetes Assn. and First United Methodist Church. Nutter Mortuary has the arrangements.
