Douglass Cemetery

Engraved on the back of the Douglass Cemetery stone: Douglass Cemetery was established November 25, 1871, when 10 acres were purchased by the Douglass Cemetery Association. Each of the following was responsible for the payment of one acre: James Alger, Jonathan Alger, Calhoun N. Young, Wm. Douglass, John Graves, Chester H. Lamb, L. Shamleffer, S.L. Shotwell, Peter True and Neil Wilkie.
