MARYDEE McCLUGGAGE

Hundreds of hearts in Butler County were saddened by the death of Marydee McCluggage, small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert T. McCluggage. In all the tragedies of this sad, old world there is none like unto the death of a child. The loss of one light-hearted, childish laugh throws Nature’s grand symphony entirely out of tune. Marydee was lovely and fair, and carried in her flowering little personality a positive, but indefinable, charm. And while her parents sorrow with a grief that cannot, and will not, be assuaged, sympathy from every home where little children frolic in artless delight will flow to them on a great flood tide.—June 6, 1930.
