The white building on the left side of the street is the old "New York Steak Restaurant." Tim's mother worked there as a waitress as a teenager. The picture was taken in the late 1940's early 1950's. Looking east on Central towards Main street.

Tim's second cousin Letha "Lietzke" Peal and his great grandmother Georgia "Jellison" Sherman standing on the corner of Main and Central, downtown El Dorado, Ks 1940. The tall building behind them was the Walnut Valley Bank.

Picture of the 3 yr. drought in Butler County. The picture was taken on the Eastside of El Dorado of the Walnut River running under East Central. Tim's granddad Harold H. Peal took this picture.
