Myrtle C. (Hogoboom) Jackson, 82, of Wichita, formerly of Florence and Marion, homemaker, died Sunday, April 17, 1994. Services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Florence United Methodist Church.
Survivors include, daughters, Nelly Franklin, Dorothy Potter, both of Wichita, stepson, Michael of Emporia, stepdaughter, Sandra Dugan of Kountze, Texas, brother, John Hogoboom of El Dorado, sister, Rose Buser of Christmas, Fla., 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, four step-grandchildren.

Robert Lee Jackson, 66, of Valley Center, retired teacher, died Sunday, March 6, 1994. Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at Nutter Chapel.
Survivors include: wife, Wilma, sons, Randall of Valley Center, Tom of Plano, Texas, daughter, Nancy Harimon, Valley Center, six grandchildren.

Kenneth F. Jacoby, 94, of El Dorado, died Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at his home. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Cemetery.
He was born Sept. 12, 1899 in Millersburg, Ind., the son of David F. Jacoby and Mary Gladys Bottenfelt Jacoby. On Jan. 26, 1925, he and Viola M. French were married in Augusta. He was retired from Mobil Oil Company where he worked as an electrician for 36 years and was a member of the First Christian church.
Survivors include: wife, Viola, grandson, Woody Jacoby; granddaughter, Kandy Miller, sister, Winifred Burner of Lincoln, Neb., four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son.

Viola May Jacoby, 93, of El Dorado, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 1994, at Knutson Manor Nursing Home. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Carlson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Walnut Valley Memorial Park.
She was born Aug. 13, 1901, in Pender, Neb., the daughter of Austin B. and Grace Ethel Sickles French. She was a homemaker and lived most of her life in Butler County. She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Women's Christian Society.
On Jan. 26, 1925, she and Kenneth Franklin Jacoby were married in Augusta. He died June 15, 1994.
Survivors include: grandson, Woody Jacoby of Blue Springs, Mo., granddaughter, Kandy Miller, of El Dorado, sister, Eleaner Parks of Garland, Texas, six great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son.

Buddy R. James, 63, of Republic, Mo., formerly of El Dorado, died Saturday, March 19, 1994. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday, 6 to 8 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home.
He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Alton, Mo., the son of Luther N. and Lora Bell James. He worked for Vickers Refinery in Potwin and the Texaco Warehouse in Wichita until retiring in 1977. He was a member of the Republic church of Christ. He and Masie Mitchell were married 40 years ago.
Survivors include: wife, Masie, sons, Marc of Brookline, Mo., Mike of El Dorado, daughter, Lisa Blankenship of Marionville, Mo., two grandsons, three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. (El Dorado times, March 21, 1994)
Norman Dean Jantz, 54, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of El Dorado, died Friday, March 11, 1994. Services were held Monday afternoon in Greenlawn Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Cross III officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
He was an auto mechanic and a member of Central Baptist Church. He served in the National Guard for eight years.
Survivors include: wife, Judy, sons, Mark, Tracy, both of Springfield, daughters, Dena Flannigan of Springfield, Leigh Ann Thornton of Marshfield, Mo., three grandchildren, mother and stepfather, Veva and John Ramsey of Grove, Okla, brothers, Ronald of Wichita, James of El Dorado, sister, Donna Mae Guinn of Seattle, Wash. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Jantz.

James Gordon Jeffers, 66, of Wichita, formerly of El Dorado, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 1994 at St. Joseph Hospital. Masonic services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Lakeview Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Lakeview mausoleum.
He was a veteran of WWII and retired owner of Jeffer's Cleaners in El Dorado. His memberships included the North Star Masonic Lodge, Wichita Consistory of the Scottish Rite, and Shriners.
Survivors include: nephew, Walter Jeffers of Fort Myers, Fla.

Frances Maxine Jeffries, 57, homemaker, of Towanda, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 22, 1994. Services are 10 a.m. Friday in Baker Funeral Home in Peabody. Burial will be in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
She was born April 5, 1937, the daughter of Joe Morris and Ann Elizabeth (Jones). In 1981, she and Thurrel Jeffries were married.
Survivors include: husband, Thurrel; daughters, Tammy Payton of Loogootee, Inc., Crystal Binder of Towanda, sisters, Lera Crawford of Blue Springs, Mo., Mary Patricia McClure of Towanda; four grandchildren. (El Dorado Times, Nov. 23, 1994)
Arthur Lee Johnson, 75, of Jackson, Tenn., died Monday afternoon, May 31, 1994. Services were held Wednesday afternoon at Lawrance-Sorensen Funeral Home in Jackson. Rev. Mike Johnson, grandson of Mr. Johnson, officiated the graveside services.
He was born July 29, 1918. On June 19th, 1943, he and Ruth Sanders of Jackson, Tenn. were married. He was formerly married to Lucille Skelton Hacker of El Dorado.
Survivors include, daughter, Shirley Smith of El Dorado, sons, Frank of Augusta, Bobby of Jackson, David of Memphis, Tenn., 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Maggie Johnson of Jackson, Tenn., one sister, two brothers and one infant daughter. (El Dorado Times, June 8, 1994)
Etta F. Johnson, 83, of El Dorado, died Friday, August 5, 1994, at her home. Services were held Monday at Carlson Funeral Home. Burial was in Sunset Lawns Cemetery. Rev. Rick McNary officiated the services.
She was born Aug. 1, 1911 in Florence the daughter of Harry and Dora Elizabeth Neiswander Gibson, and lived most of her life in El Dorado. She was a sales clerk for Montgomery Ward, Gibson's and Clark's Pharmacy and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Rebecca Lodge.
On Sept. 29, 1935 she and Roy Johnson were married in El Dorado. He died July 29, 1959.
Survivors include: son, Wayne of Wichita, daughter, Glenda Webster of Collinsville, Okla., five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Clyde Gibson.

Lillian Ann Johnson, 81, of El Dorado, died early Wednesday morning, Dec. 28, 1994, at Susan B. Allen Hospital. No services will be held.
She was born Aug. 15, 1913, in Purcell, N.M., the daughter of Jack and May Woodall Wilcoxsen. She was a homemaker and had worked for Boeing Aircraft during WWII. She was a member of the Living Water Chapel.
Survivors include sons, Robert of El Dorado, Jack of Branson, Mo., six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lee Johnson, who died in 1981, two sisters and three brothers.

Lucille Jones, 88, of Augusta, formerly of El Dorado, died Thursday, April 14, 1994. Services are 2 p.m. Monday in Elmwood Cemetery. Rev. Vern Bowers will officiate the services.
She was born Oct. 15, 1904, in Decatur, Ala., the daughter of Daniel J. Lewis and Maggie Roberts. On Sept. 13, 1944, she and William H. Jones were married in Camden, Mo. He died in 1973. She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include: brother, Dan Lewis, several nieces and nephews. (El Dorado Times, April 15, 1994)
Sydney Lowell Jones, 52, of Medicine Lodge, truck driver, died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 1994. Rosary is 7 p.m. today at Forsyth Funeral Home and services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Survivors include, wife, Veronica, sons, Mark, Matthew, both of Medicine Lodge, daughters, Erin, Heather, both of Medicine Lodge, Sheri Lariviere of Maple Valley, sisters, Hazel Baxter of Clinton, Okla., Christine Harder of Benton, parents, Harry and Lydia of Medicine Lodge, one grandchild.
