Monday, January 7th, 2008. Viewing 1-8 pm Friday with family to greet friends from 5-7 pm and service 10 am Saturday,
January 12th, 2008 all at Headley Funeral Chapel, Augusta. Interment at Latham Cemetery. Mr. Chinn was born in
Latham, KS on March 5, 1923; the son of the late Jesse Vinton and Frances Elizabeth (Sensenb augh) Chinn. He served
in the U.S. Army Air Force from April 27, 1944 to December 10, 1945. After receiving an honorable discharge he
took on the responsibility of taking care of the farm. After his marriage to Belva Jean Pfeil on June 9, 1946,
in Wichita, they operated a dairy farm south of Wichita until 1952, then east of Rose Hill from 1952 until 1975
and finally from 1978 to 1986 northwest of Augusta. He was a hard working farmer and cattle rancher until his passing.
He is survived by: daughter Carla Jean Purdy and her husband Cleave of Augusta; son Henry Carlton "Hank"
Chinn Jr. and his wife Jan of Augusta; daughter Terri Lee Chinn of El Dorado; daughter Lynda Marie McClure and

passed away Friday, February 25th, 2005. She was born near Atlanta, Kansas on May 8, 1906, she was the daughter
of the late Edward and Ocea M. (Johnson) Tomlin. Alberta worked as a cook at many local restaurants and had been
employed at Boeing during WWII and after. She is survived by: sons Bob and his wife Kate Haaga, El Dorado and Billy
and his wife Anne Haaga, Douglass; step son Tom and his wife Lois Starkey, Burden; step daughter Betty and her
husband Esli Burden, of Pittsburg; sister Ruth Bacon, Augusta; 9 grandchildren, Rex Stevens, Arkansas City, Deann
Korte & Billye Stull, both of Augusta, Janett Doile & Christi Dutcher both of El Dorado, Kathy Lockhart
& Scott Haaga, both of Douglass, Steve Haaga, Rock, and Jack Haaga, Rose Hill. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren,
12 great great grandchildren, 1 step grandchild and 3 step great grandchildren and 2 step great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: husbands, Homer Haaga and Morell Starkey, son, Gene Rex Haaga, daughter, Helen Stevens, 4
