Louise Marie LaForge, 87, of El Dorado, died Saturday morning, May 28, 1994, at Susan B. Allen Memorial Hospital. Services were held Tuesday morning at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Girard and burial was in Greenbush Cemetery.
She was born Nov. 12, 1906, in Girard, the daughter of Karl and Anna (Koester) Meyer. On Oct. 19, 1926, she and August L. LaForge were married in Greenbush. He died in April 1963. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns Catholic Church.
Survivors include: sons, Robert of El Dorado, Richard of New Orleans, La., Jerry of Valley Center, sister Margaret Bennett of Girard, 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren.

Adlina Lambert, 68, of Palco, died Tuesday Jan. 18,1994 at St. Francis Regional Medical Center. Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Palco with Rev. Ralph Jarboe and Rev. Jim Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery, rural Palco.
She was born July 25, 1925, in Rooks County to William and Albertina (Jantz) Trarbach. On May 4, 1944, she and Duane Lambert were married in Ellis County. He died in January 1988. She was a homemaker and a 4-H leader and a member of the Sunshine Club.
Survivors include: sons, Church of Denver, Glenn of Zurich, Keith of Damar, daughter Jolene Keith of El Dorado, brothers, Walter Trarbach of Wichita, Carl Trarbach, Eddie Trarbach, both of Zurich, sisters, Edna Schonthaler of Hayes, Minnie Schoenthaler of Ocala; eight grandchildren.

Marietta H. Landers, 71, homemaker of Sun City, Ariz., died Saturday, May 21, 1994 in Boswell Hospital. Services will be 6 p.m. Wednesday at Sunland Lakeside Chapel in Sun City.
She was born in El Dorado and moved to Arizona in 1982 from Washington. She was a member of the Kansas Club and had worked at Contract Post Office Lakeside Florist for six years.
Survivors include: daughters, Sandra Hesse of Reno, Nev., Karen Hubbard of Moraga, Calif., Rhonda Sprouse of Granberry, Texas, sisters, Meabelle Sutton of Sun City West, Ariz., nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Larry lee Lane, 50, of Lawrence, died Sunday, Jan. 16, 1994, at his home. Services are 9 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church with Pastor R. Dean Dixon officiating. Graveside services will be 4 p.m. Wednesday in Atlantic, Iowa, the son of Harold J. and Dorothy Knight Lane and had lived in Lawrence for 23 years. He was a maintenance supervisor for USD 497 and U. S. Air Force Veteran. His memberships included First Baptist Church in Lawrence, V. F. W., Alford-Clarke Post 852, American Legion Dorsey-Liberty Post 14. On Dec. 19, 1964, he and Carmen Lee Stroud were married in Wichita.
Survivors include: wife, Carmen, daughter, Melissa Bloom of Fayetteville, Ark., son, Lonnie Lane of Hays, mother Dorothy Lane of Atlantic, Iowa, sisters: Betty Ann Retz of Glenwood, Iowa, Sharon Pross of Atlantic, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his father.

She was born Aug. 4, 1911 in Whitewater. She was married to James Douglas Lansdowne and was a retired secretary for Lansdowne Plumbing Co.

James Ray Leachman, 47, of Artesia, N.M., formerly of Benton and El Dorado, died Nov. 13, 1994 in New Mexico as the result of a truck accident. Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Terpening Mortuary in Artesia. Local services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the First Christian church in El Dorado. Burial will be in the Benton Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 7, 1947 in Woodward, Okla., the son of James and Lorena (Mayes) Leachman and as a child moved to the Benton area where he attended school. He graduated from Towanda High School in 1965 and attended Hutchinson Community College on football and baseball scholarships. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army.
On March 26, 1979, he and Rita F. Long were married in Sydney, Mont. He has lived in Artesia since 1986. For many years he coached in the Little Leagues.
Survivors include: wife, Rita, son, Adam, daughter Tonya of the home, mother Lorena Leachman, brother, Leon, both of El Dorado. He was preceded in death by his father.

Kayla Marie Lee, 5, of Northglenn, Colo., died Oct. 23, 1994 as a result of an attack by a rottweiler in the backyard of her home. Services are 11 a.m. Saturday in Crown Hill Cemetery, Lakewood, Colo.
She was born June 5, 1989 the daughter of Anthony W. Lee and Teresa A. Gross, formerly of El Dorado. She attended kindergarten at A Childs Touch in Thornton and participated in Fox Trotting Horse Shows in the Denver area.
Her paternal grandparents are Harold and Carla Gum of Denver, maternal grandparents are Rex and Terry Walker of Lakewood and Al and Liz Gross of Grant; great-grandparents are Lillian Gum and the late Virgil Gum.

He was born August 25, 1918 in Canton and grew up in Marion. He moved from Wichita to Latham in 1962. He was a flight line mechanic and had served in the U.S. Navy from 1943 to 1946. he married Dolores Hobson.
Survivors include: wife, Dolores, son, Terry of Augusta; daughters, Debbie Gannon, Cheri Moore, both of Augusta, brother, Berl of Wichita; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.

Emmett, LeFors, 104, died Thursday, August 18, 1994. Services are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Carmichael Funeral Home in Pampa, Texas.
He was born Sept. 27, 1889, in Mobeetie, Texas. Known as The Bull Man, he was a member of the Cowboy Hall of Frame. He had been a prize herford breeder and rancher in Pampa, Texas in 1909. He retired at ago 100 and moved to Tulsa. He was a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner.
Survivors include: sister, Molita LeFors Eastland of Beaumont, Texas, niece, Dorothy Biery of Tulsa, nephew Berton Doucette of Pampa, Texas, grand nephew Ray Biery of Tulsa.

Nellie M. Lehr, 88, of El Dorado, died Thursday morning, Sept. 1, 1994, at St. Joseph Medical Center. Rosary will be 7 p.m. Friday at Carlson Funeral Home. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Johns Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sunset Lawns Cemetery.
She was born May 2, 1906 east of Leon, the daughter of Sherman and Cora Real Walker. She was a homemaker and had lived in El Dorado since 1923.
On April 29, 1923, she and Leo P. Lehr were married. He died June 26, 1963. On April 23, 1965, she and Paul J. Hill, Sr., were married. He died June 3, 1971. She was a member of St. Johns Catholic Church, Altar Society, Ladies of the Moose, Senior Citizens and the V. F. W. Auxiliary.
Survivors include: sons, Robert Lehr, David Lehr, both of Wichita, Donald Lehr of Loveland, Colo., Raymond Lehr, of Overland Park, daughters, Mary Louise Harms of El Dorado, Kathryn Neill of Kansas City, Mo., Sondra Jennings of Wichita; 25 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
