Bernadine Marie Smith, 103, of Emporia died Sunday, May 25,
2003, at Vintage Manor.
Mrs. Smith worked at W.T. Grant's in Wichita before she retired.
She is survived by a son, Gilbert Smith of Neosho Rapids; a daughter, Wilma Balay of Denver, Colo.; eight grandchildren;
and several great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Dunsford Funeral Home at Augusta. Burial will be in High Prairie
Cemetery at Smileyberg. Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
