FRAMIS McGOYNE DIES SUDDENLY

Framis O. McGoyne, 38, of 921 North Gordy, died early today after he was striken suddenly at the Star Vu Drive-In Theater, Route 1.  Mr. McGoyne collapsed and died at the theater at 12:40 a.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Dietz-Pittman Colonial Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Jones, pastor of First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.  Interment will be made in Sunset Lawns cemetery.

The El Doradoan, a laborer with Snodgrass & Sons Construction Co., Wichita, suffered a heart attack while at work on June 29.  He had not yet been released to return to work, it was reported.

Born March 9, 1926, at Silverton, Kan., he moved to El Dorado with his parents when he was eight months old.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Pansy McGoyne Randall, and step-father, Charles F. Randall, of the home; five brothers, Flavius J. McGoyne, of the home, Duane L., 1210 Orient, Charles J., 607 East Twelfth, Robert E., Route, and William M., San Bernardino, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Vivian J. Branstetter, 607 North Star, and Mrs. Beverly J. Schmidt, 613 South Emporia; two step-brothers, Franklin J. Randall, 705 Oak, and Raymond F. Randall, 1508 Edgemoor Drive, and one step-sister, Mrs. Karen S. Greenlee, 617 West First.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Stewart McGoyne, and a half-brother, Sonny Randall.

Rites Are Held for Framic O. McGoyne

Funeral services for Framis O. McGoyne, 39, of 921 North Gordy, who died Thursday, were conducted Saturday afternoon at the Dietz-Pittman Colonial Chapel.  The Rev. Harold Jones, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, was the officiant.

Mrs. Clarren Butterworth at the organ accompanied Graydon Waldord who sang "Peace in the Valley," and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?"

Serving as casket bearers were David Moss, Virden King, Jerald J. Erpelding, Walter Post, Virgil Martin and Carl Compton.

Interment was in Sunset Lawns cemetery.
