BUTLER COUNTY EX-SOLDIERS - First Annual Reunion Opens at El Dorado, Kansas, with Large Attendance

El Dorado, Kan., Oct. 11 - This city is full of soldiers, their wives, daughters, mothers and sons, the occasion being the first annual reunion of the Butler County Ex-Soldier's association. They are in camp at the City park, and the reunion promises to be a grand affair. A camp-fire was held tonight which was attended by an immense audience. Department Commander Campbell delivered a splendid address, which was enthusiastically received. Hon. J. R. Hallowell and Hon. Bernard Kelly will speak tomorrow after the parade, which occurs at 2 o'clock. A permanent organization was formed with Hon. T. B. Murdock as chairman and W. H. Avery secretary. El Dorado Man is Listed as Jap Prisoner
Washington, June 4, Seven Kansans were among 189 U. S. soldiers listed by the war department today as Japanese prisoners of war. The camp where they were held was not stated.
They include:

Campbell, Cp. Joseph N. - Rev. and Mrs. John T. Campbell parents, 911 South St. Clair Ave., Wichita.
Franke, Pfc William M. - Mrs. Anna Edwards, grandmother, 1113 West Cave Springs Avenue, El Dorado
Hughes, Pfc Archie - William Hughes, brother, St. John.
Ingraham, Pvt. Clarence W. - Mrs. Minnie Ingraham, mother, Box 82, Horace.
Johnson, Cpl. Walter R. - John W. Johnson, father, 414 West Kansas, McPherson
King, Pfc Warnar A. - Mrs. Mary E. King, mother, Route 1, Box 39, Sterling
