Herman Ingold Dies, Sevices Wednesday

Herman Ingold, retired employe of Mobil Oil Co., died Sunday at St. Francis hospital, Wichita. He was 70 years old.

Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Dunsford Chapel with Dr. C. W. Nichols of the First Christian church officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Mr. Ingold had been employed by Mobil for 27 1/2 years at the time of his retirement. A native of Davis county, Iowa, he came to Butler county in 1909.

The son of Frederick Ingold and Barbara Ritz, he was born Dec. 21., 1892. On Aug. 12, 1917 he was married to Martha Marie Boucher at Wichita, who survives.

In addition to his widow, survivors include three sons, Chester H. Ingold of Augusta, Henry C. Ingold of Rose Hill and Wesley M. Ingold of Augusta, along with nine grandchildren.

INGOLD, MARIE

Marie Ingold, 98, Augusta, died Saturday, April 9, at home.

Her funeral service will be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday, April 13, at Hillside Funeral Home, Augusta chapel, Sixth & Walnut. Burial will be in Elmwood cemetery.

She was born July 25, 1895 in Butler County as the daughter of Henry E. Boucher and Bird V. Griffth Boucher.

She married Herman Ingold in Wichita on Aug. 12, 1917. He preceded her in death in June 1963.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge.

The former homemaker is survived by three sons, Chester H., Henry C. and Wesley M. Ingold.

BOUCHER, GEORGE EDWARD

The remains of Ed Boucher arrived on the Santa Fe, Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 o'clock, Tuesday afternoon at the Baptist church.

STROUD, MAUDE HUTTER

Rites Held Today For Mrs. Stroud

Graveside services were conducted at 2 0'clock this afternoon at Elmwood cemetery here for Mrs. Maude Hutter Stroud who died a week ago in California. Dr. C. Willam Nichols, pastor of the First Christian church,will officiate at the rites.

Pallbearers were Jess Bradley, Ernest Jackson, Charles Davis, Jim Carr, Cecil Stevens and Clarence Stroud.

Dunsford Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements here.

Services were held Saturday at the Neel Funeral Home in Compton, Calif.

Maude Hutter Stroud was born Dec. 1, 1913 at Augusta, the daughter of Andrew Clinton Hutter and Flora Ethel Sapp.

She married Jan. 19, 1935 at Blackwell, Okla., to Delbert M. Stroud and they lived in Augusta and vicinity until 1952 when the moved to Long Beach, Calif.

Mrs. Stroud died Oct. 23, 1963 after a weeks illness at Bellwood hospital, Los Angeles, Calif.

She is survived by her husband Delbert M. Stroud; four sisters, Ethel Wilson, of Kelter, Mo., Viola Blankenship of Norco, Calif., Edith Buddette of Ozark, Mo., Bertha Reaves of Long Beach, calif.; three brothers, Clinton, John and Joe Hutter, all of Augusta; an uncle, Ralph Sapp of Augusta; an aunt, Osa Cummings of Augusta, nine nieces and seven nephews, besides other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Stroud was a member of the Rosewood Christian church of Compton, Calif., a devoted Sunday school teacher and a faithful worker in her church.

BOUCHER, FERN MARIE

Fern Marie Boucher Dies at El Dorado, Services Wednesday

Mrs. Fern Marie Boucher, of El Dorado, died yesterday in Allen Memorial hospital, El Dorado. Funeral services Will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Dunsford chapel with Interment in Elmwood cemetery.

Mrs. Boucher was born June 16, 1917 in Russell, the daughter: of Opal Lenover Furthmyer. And Will Furthmyer. She was married to William Z. Boucher Aug, 3, 1939 at Wellington. He survives.

Other survivors are three children, Sandra of the home, Charlene Johnson of Reece, Kans., and Bill of the home; her father, Will Furthmyer of Wichita; a brother, Roy Furthmyer of Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. Lorna Meadows of Augusta and Mrs. Pearl Arrasmith of El Dorado; and two grandchildren.
She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses.

BROOMFIELD, FOREST C.

Forest C. Broomfield died September 7 at Grove General Hospital, Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 84. He was born April 1, 1904 in Milton, Kansas. He married Ethel Boucher February 19, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas.

A carpenter, Broomfield attended Mt. Hermon Bapist Church. He came to this area in 1971 from Lamar, Missouri.

Broomfield was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel in 1984, and one son, Floyd Broomfield in 1969.

Survivors include three daughters, Lois Flewelling, Holton, Kansas, Marjorie Broomfield, Jay and Helen Addington, Tulsa; a sister, Edrie Broomfield of Augusta, Kansas; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services were held at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church with Dr. Audry Thomas officiating. Burial was in Mt. Hermon Cemetery under the direction of Lawson Memorial Chapel.

Former Augustan died Wednesday

Forest Broomfield, 84, formerly of Augusta, died Wednesday, Sept. 7.

His funeral service will be Sunday atlernoon at 2:30 in Oklahoma.

Survivors include his daughters, Lois Flewelling of Horton, Marjorie Broomfield of Jay, Okla.. Helen Addington of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Edrie Broomfield of Augusta; 20 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

BROOMFIELD, ETHEL

OBITUARY - Services for Ethel Broomfield, 79, Jay, who died at 5 p.m. Thursday at Jay Memorial Hospital after a long illness, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Mount Hermon Church near Jay.
Audrey Thomas and Chas Foreman, ministers, officiated. Burial in the Mount Hermon Cemetery under the direction of the Lawson Funeral Home, Jay. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mrs Broomfield was born July 8, 1904 at Augusta, Kansas. She had lived in the Jay area the past 13 years. She attended Mount Hermon Church. She married Forest Broomfield on February 19, 1926 at Wichita, Kansas. He survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Lois Flewelling, Soldier, Kansas; Marjorie Broomfield, Jay; and Helen Addington, Tulsa; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

RIERSON, CASH BYRON

Cash Byron Rierson, 73, retired farmer, Douglass, kan., died Tuesday.

He was born Feb. 21, 1891, in Butler County, Kan., and was a lifetime resident. He was a member of Cumberland Community church.

Survivors include his widow, Florence, a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Capansky, Rt. 2, Douglass, two sons, Fred, Rt. 3, leon, Kan., and Russell, Rt. 2, Douglass, a brother, J. A., 780 S. Mission Road, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Hughes, 421 Smythe, of wichita, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Dunsford Funeral Home. Burial will be in Little Walnut Cemetery. (El Dorado Times, September 16, 1964)

TREWEEKE, JOHN L.

Dies Tuesday Night

Older Augusta residents were saddened today when news came from Wichita of the death of a former resident, John L. Treweeke, 81, last evening at 9:10 o'clock.

Mr. Treweeke was born January 28, 1860 in Waukegon, Ill., coming to Augusta with his parents in 1870. Here he grew to manhood and married Emma Margaret Skaer who with a son, Richard of Wichita, survive. A brother, Richard A. Treeweek resides here and a sister, Mrs. Ella Melrose at Billings, Okla. A niece, Mrs.Bessie Chapin is an Augusta resident.

Mr. and Mrs. Treweeke moved to Wichita about 1912 and until 1930, when he was retired, Mr. Treweeke was a salesman for the International Harvestor company.

Funeral services will be held at the Downing mortuary in Wichita at 10 a.m. Friday. Interment will be made in the Elmwood cemetery here in the Treweeke family plot.

TREWEEKE, EMMA

Treweeke Services

Announcement has been made of the death of Mrs. Emma Treweeke, in California. Her husband, John Treweeke, preceded her in death several years ago. Funeral services will be held in Wichita, with graveside services in Augusta at the Elmwood cemetery about 4:30 o'clock Friday afternoon. The Treweeke's were pioneer settlers in Augusta.
