Mrs. Louis (Anna) Millison, age 82, died early Friday evening.

Funeral services are pending.

ANNA MILLISON RITES ARE HELD

Funeral services were held Monday morning at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel for Anna Elizabeth Millison, 82, who died Friday at the Augusta Medical Complex. The Rev. Vernon White conducted the services. Interment was in Elmwood cemetery.

Anna Millison was born June 1, 1891 at Sedan, the daughter of Hiram and Ella (Conner) Dyer. She was married to Louis Millison at Sedan on Jan. 19, 1908.

She moved to Augusta from Sedan in 1920 and was a member of the Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her widower; four sons, Marion Millison of Houston, Tex., Don Millison of San Leandro, Calif., Ross Millison of Raytown, Mo., and Clark Millison of San Pableo, Calif., four daughters, Irene Harness of Augusta, Louise Clind and Mary Kay Rains of Wichita and Mildred Saunders of Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Nell Clark of Kailvia Kona, Hawaii and Maude Smith of San Mateo, Calif.; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Harold in 1949 and a daughter, Edith in 1937. (Augusta Daily Gazette ~ Monday, 27 Aug 1973)

Mrs. Anna Elizabeth Millison was born on June 1, 1891 at Sedan, Kansas, and passed from this life on August 24, 1973 at the Augusta Medical Complex following a lingering illness. She was 82 years of age. On June 19, 1908 she was united in marriage to Louis Millison at Sedan, Kansas, who is left to mourn her passing as are 8 children, 24 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and other relatives. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta and The Eastern Star of Augusta, Chapter 211.

Funeral services were held on Monday, August 27, 1973, at 10:00 a.m. at the Dunsford Funeral Chael in Augusta, Rev. Vernon V. White, Pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated. Mrs. Vernon White was at the chapel organ, and played "Sweet Hour of Prayer", "Whispering Hope" and "God Will Take Care of You." Casketbearers were Walter Ewalt, Ben Carrillo, James Trapp, Gene Dewing, Wayne Arthoud and Albert Hill.

MILLISON, CLARK

Former Augusta resident Clark Millison, 64, Hutchinson, died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 1995.

There will be a graveside service in Elmwood Cemetery at noon Saturday, Jan. 6, 1996.

Millison was a retired United States Navy chief construction mechanic and retired 3M business machines repairman.

He is survived by his sons, Joe of Tulsa, Okla., David of DeSoto, Texas, Michael and Thomas, both of Hutchinson, Rex of Vallejo, Calif., Steve of Manhattan and Todd of San Franciso, Calif., and daughters, Melanie Sterling of Hutchinson, Robin Haas of Inman, Maura Millison of San Francisco and Veronica Millison of Nashville, Tenn.; brothers, Don of San Leandro, Calif., Ross of Reno, Nev.; sisters, Mary Kay Raines and Louise Cline, both of Wichita, and 16 grandchildren. Millison Services Held on Wednesday

Funeral rites for Harold Millison, 32, will be held Wednesday at 2:30 in the Dunsford Chapel. Mr. Millison, who had been in poor health for four years, died in Allen Memorial hospital in El Dorado Sunday morning. Rev. B. B. Hinkson will conduct the service. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis R. Millison, he was born August 17, 1916 and was married to Rebecca Collins at Arkansas City on December 17, 1938. She survives as do his parents and two children, Rebecca Ann, five, and William Harold, seven. Surviving brothers and sisters are: Marion, Edmond, Okla.; Donald E., Blackwell, Okla.; Ross and Clark of Augusta; Mrs. Paul Harness, Augusta; Mrs. L. L. Saunders, Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. A.C. Cline, Wichita and Mary Kay, Augusta.

Harold Millison was born in Sedan and moved to Augusta with his parents in 1919. He had been employed at Socony-Vacumm refinery. His church membership was with the Methodist church. He was graduated from the Augusta High school in 1934 and was a member of the Elks Lodge. (Augusta Daily Gazette ~ Monday, 7 Feb 1949)

Louis Millison, 89, Dies, Rites at 2 Thursday

Funeral services will be held at the Dunsford Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon for Louis Rosswell Millison, 89, who died Monday at the Augusta Medical Complex. The Rev. Vernon White will conduct the services. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.

Louis Millison was born April 21, 1884 in Butler County, Pa., the son of Elmer and Florence (Braden) Millison. He was married to Anna Elizabeth Dyer at Sedan on Jan. 19, 1908. She preceded him in death on Aug. 24 of this year.

He moved to Augusta from Sedan in 1924 and was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include four sons, Marion Millison of Houston, Tex., Don Millison of San Leandro, Calif., Ross Millison of Raytown, Mo., and Clark Milison of San Pableo, Calif.; four daughters, Irene Harness of Augusta, Mildred Saunders of Kansas City, Mo., Louise Cline and Mary Kay Rains of Wichita; a sister, Margaret Bixler of Augusta; 24 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, November 1, 1973, at 2:00 o'clock for Mr. Louis R. Millison, 89 years of age.

Rev. Vernon V. White, pastor of the First Baptist Church officiated. Mrs. Ruth Basquez was organist, and played "Sweet Hour of Prayer", "How Great Thou Art" and "God Will Take Care of You."

Casketbearers were Walter Ewalt, Ray Trapp, Albert Hill, Howard Smith, Oscar Applegate and Ben Carrillo.

SAUNDERS, MILDRED ETHEL

Saunders Rites Set

Mildred Ethel Saunders, 64, a former Augustan, died Monday at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a secretary for the cooks and waitress' union at Kansas City and was born July 11, 1911 at Alluwe, Oklahoma.

Surviving are brothers, Marion Millison of Houston, Texas, Don Millison of Oakland, California, Ross Millison of Lake Perry and Clark Millison of San Pablo, California, and sisters, Mrs. Irene Harness, Augusta, Mrs. Louise Cline and Mrs. Mary Kay Rains, both of Wichita.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the form of graveside rites at Elmwood Cemetery, the Rev. Vernon V. White officiating. Arrangements are by the Dunsford Mortuary of Augusta. (Augusta Daily Gazette ~ Monday ~ 1 Mar 1976)

Leon Woman's Rites Monday

Funeral services for Mrs. Vesta V. McCaffree, 87, of Leon, were at 2 p.m. Monday in the United Methodist Church at Leon. Mrs. McCaffree died Friday.

Survivors include: sons, Lawrence of El Dorado, Kenneth of Seattle; brother, Art Dunn of Wichita; sister, Mrs. Hazel Thompson of Los Angeles.
