Griffis, Teresa (Queen), 51, went to be with the Lord February 25, 2005 at home after a long battle with cancer.

HALL, ROBERT ROSS
Hall, Robert Ross, 72, of Warsaw, MO, passed away Friday morning, February 4, 2005 at the Bothwell Regional Hospital
in Sedalia, MO. He was born March 6, 1932, in Benton, KS, the son of Frank D. and Meda Duncan Hall. Ross made his
home in Overland Park, KS where he was employed as truck driver for Shock Transfer in Kansas City, KS for 27 years.
On December 3, 1983, he was united in marriage to Carol Tritle. They continued to make their home in the Kansas
City area, until moving to Lebanon, MO in 1994 and later to Warsaw, MO in 1996. Ross was a member of the Teamsters
Local #41, of Kansas City, MO. He enjoyed playing the steel guitar, flying small engine aircraft and was a winchester
nut. Ross is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Pearl Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Carol, of the home; three daughters, Monica Smith and her husband Michael, of Independence,
MO, Janet Armstrong and her husband Rick, of Wichita, and Tammy Reynolds and her husband Lawrence, of Tulsa, OK;
three step-sons; twelve grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at the Reser Funeral Home in Warsaw, MO. Burial will be held on Tuesday
at 1 pm at the Benton Cemetery in Benton, KS. Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Benton
County Hospice or American Cancer Society in care of the Reser Funeral Home, P.O. Box 910, Warsaw, MO 65355. (Wichita

McCUNE, DONNA CAROLINE
PRATT - Donna Caroline McCune, 74, died March 19, 2005, at her home, Pratt.
She was born June 20, 1930, at Casper, Wyo., the daughter of Don and Jacqueline Nielson Denny. A resident of Pratt,
she was a homemaker.
On August 20, 1949, she married Merle McCune at Tulsa, Okla. He survives.
Other survivors include: three sons, Jim McCune, Willard, N.M.; John McCune, Pinedale, Wyo., and Jeff McCune, Iuka;
a daughter, Kathy Fleming, Rock Springs, Wyo.; her mother, Florrissant, Mo; two brothers, Bob Denny, El Dorado,
and Tom Denny, LePeer, Mich.; a sister, Karla Bryant, Florrissant, Mo.; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First United Methodist Church, Pratt, with the Rev. Kendal Utt presiding.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt. Internment will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday
in Benton Cemetery, Benton.

McCUNE, ALFRED
McCune, Alfred, born Nov. 17, 1919, joined his beloved Zetha in heaven on Feb. 11, 2006 after a battle with Non-Hodgkin's
Lymphoma. Al grew up in the farmlands of Benton, Kan. as the oldest of eight boys. He was a soldier, serving in
the Army Air Corps during World War II. Upon his return from the war, he worked for Boeing for over 40 years. Al
and Zetha made their first home on their farm between Haysville and Derby, Kan. and in 1968 moved to Everett, Wash.
He was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and friend. For the past three years he has been
living with his daughter Regina in her guest house on Bainbridge Island, Wash. His hobbies included woodworking,
house building, and gardening. He spent many hours working in the homes of his daughter, Regina, and his son, Gary,
besides remodeling his own homes. He was an avid gardener whose dahlias presented an awesome display.
Al is survived by daughter Rebecca McCune, Seattle; daughter Regina Gurtler, son-in-law Paul Gurtler, and grandson
Travis Gurtler, Bainbrid ge Island; grandson Bryant Gurtler, Vancouver, Wash.; son Gary McCune and daughter-in-law
Sherri McCune, Lake Tapps, Wash.
Memorial services were held at Cascade View Presbyterian Church in Everett, Wash. on Friday, Feb. 17, 2006 at 11
a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Cascade View Presbyterian Church or the American

McCUNE, ZETHA
McCune, Zetha, former Wichita area resident, died May 30th on Bainbridge Island, WA. Zetha was born Feb. 13, 1921
on a farm between Haysville and Derby to Chet and Mossie Mason. She graduated from Derby High School. During WWII
she worked for the Cessna Airplane Co. In 1941 she married the love of her life, Alfred McCune, who worked for
Boeing in Wichita. They had three children and lived between Haysville and Derby. During this time Zetha was active
in 4-H, EHU, and women's activities at First Presbyterian Church of Derby. In 1968 the family moved to Everett,
WA. Zetha taught at Everett Community College and was an active member of her church. Her faith in the Lord showed
through in all areas of her life.
Zetha is survived and will be greatly missed by her devoted husband, Alfred, of Bainbridge Island; daughter, Rebecca
of Seattle, WA; daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Paul Gurtler of Bainbridge Island; son and daughter-in-law
Gary McCune and Sherri Stewart of Sumner, WA; two loving grandsons, Bryant Gurtler of Vancouver, WA and Travis
Gurtler of Bainbridge Island; many other friends and family who were touched by her loving and selfless nature.
Memorial service 10 a.m. June 30, 2003, First Presbyterian Church, Derby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be
