Charles H. Stephens, 66, of Topeka, formerly of Valley Falls, passed away,
Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, at his home.
He was born Dec. 19, 1938, in Jefferson City, Mo., the son of Orin and Meredith Stephens.
Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He was employed by Frito Lay for 26 years before retiring as a manager in the maintenance department.
Charles was married to Mary Thompson on June 11, 1983, in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Melissa A. Stephens, nd Cathy Stephens, and one son, Cary Stephens, all
of Topeka; two brothers, Robert and James Stephens; five sisters, Zenda Grant, Agnes Mart, Bettie Mayfield, JoAnn
Ridder and Frances Burkhardt; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Penwell-Gabel Parker Price Chapel in North Topeka. Cremation
will follow the service. Mr. Stephens will lie in state after noon Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family
will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Hill schoolteacher, died Monday, August 2, 1999. Service 10 a.m. Saturday, Rose Hill High School.
Kay earned a Bachelor's Degree in Education and a Master's Degree in Counseling from Wichita State University.
She was a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church and was affiliated with the National Lung Transplant Association,
United Methodist Women and Kansas National Education Association.
In 1992, she was one of eight finalists for Kansas Teacher of the Year. Kay enjoyed flowers, children and teaching.

F. Woydziak, 77, Rose Hill, will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church, Andover. Burial will

Mr. Woydziak died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1999, in Wichita.
He was born April 18, 1922, in Dubuque, the son of John Francis and Otillia (Schreck) Woydziak.
He married Betty Jones on Nov. 8, 1942, in California. She survives of the home.
Mr. Woydziak, a retired businessman, was a past member of Knights of Columbus, Lions Club and Rose Hill School
Board. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Survivors include a daughter, Judy Gatewood, Aurora, Colo.; six sons, John, Fulton, Ohio, Greg, Baker City, Ore.,
James, Emporia, Larry, Lawrence, and Dan and Rick, both of Rose Hill; 21 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A rosary is set for 7 p.m. today at the St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Andover. Friends may call from 9
a.m. to 4 p.m. today at Smith Mortuary in Derby.
