Jill V. Jones, 46, of El Dorado died Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003, at The Vyne Harry Hynes Hospice in
Wichita. Services will be Saturday, Jan. 3, 2004, at 1 p.m. at Carlson Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Fairview
Cemetery, Augusta.
She was born Dec. 9, 1957, in Torrance, Calif., the daughter of Jay and Mary Lou Chastain Moore Jr. She lived in
California as a child and for seven years in Phoenix before coming to El Dorado five years ago. She worked at Wal-Mart
in the domestic department. She was a member of River of Life Ministries Church.
On Aug. 15, 1998, she married Glenn Jones in El Dorado.
Those she leaves, including her husband, of the home, are a son, Dennis Klapthor, and a daughter, Deniel Klapthor,
both of Glendale, Ariz.; her mother and stepfather, Mary Lou and Phillip Hart of El Dorado; a brother, Jay Moore
III of El Dorado; three sisters, Jackie Mitchell of Potwin, Juanada Vaughn of Massillon, Ohio, and Jaylena Lewis
of Costa Mesa, Calif.; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a nephew, Christopher Moore; and her grandmother, Juanita Chastain.
Memorials in her memory for River of Life Ministries Church or for assisting the family with burial expenses may
be left at Carlson Funeral Home, where friends may call Friday and Saturday.

He attended California Curtis-Wright School of Aeronautics and received his AA in 1936.
Mr. Lew was a former member of SAE and SAE Aerospace Council; American Ordinance Association; Army Aviation Association;
General Aviation Manufact urer's Association Technical Activities Committee; Aerospace Industries Association;
Missle and Aerospace Council-Procurement and Finance Committee; former member of the Board of Regents at Trinity
College in Deerfield, Ill.; former member of the Board of Trustees at the University of Kansas-Center for Research
Inc.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church, Wichita.
Mr. Lew enjoyed fishing, hunting and cooking.

He was a night manager for McDonalds.
