Mr. Clinger died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2003, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center-St. Joseph in Wichita.
He was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Rose Hill, the son of William Ernest and Bertha Dell (Chance) Clinger.
Mr. Clinger was a retired procurement engineer for Beech Aircraft.
He married Vivian Brammer on July 5, 1941, in Kansas City, Mo. She died in April 2002.
Survivors include a son, John, Lawrence; a daughter, Charlotte Flores, El Dorado; a twin brother, Garold "Barney,"
Wichita; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

basketball and was a collector of baseball cards. His one goal was to see his daughter graduate.

age 19, passed away as a result of a tragic accident on Friday, May 11, 2007. Brandon was very community oriented

Police Explorers, #2627, SADD President and a Volunteer Firefighter with BCFD #3. He graduated from Rose Hill High
School, the class of 2005, and was attending Butler County Community College, where he was studying as an EMT student
and taking Firefighter I classes. He was also a Bank Teller at INTRUST Bank of Derby. He is survived by his parents,
Larry and Christina Daley, his sister, Candice Daley, God-Brother, Greg Robertson, all of Rose Hill, grandparents,

Stanley Grant Harris, DVM, Ph.D., 67, of Pueblo West, Colo., died Tuesday, March 2, in Pueblo, Colo.
He was born April 2, 1936, in Wichita.
He served his country as a captain in the U.S. Army. He graduated from Kansas State University and from the KSU
School of Veterinary Medicine where he was a member of the Farmhouse Fraternity. After earning his Ph.D. in Veterinary
Medicine from Ohio State University, he returned to KSU to teach Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Harris was a member of AVMA; charter member of ACVIM in cardiology; past president of the Flagstaff, Ariz.,
Heart Association; member of Douglas, Kan., Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, Pueblo Court #110 R.O.J.; Al Kaly
Shrine; Pueblo Shrine Club; and Pueblo West Rotary Club.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen M. Harris, DVM, of the family home in Pueblo West, Colo.; children Laura Harris,
of Kentucky, Charlotte Harris, of Arizona, and Stephen Harris, of Missouri; a stepson, Hayden Cole of Fort Collins,
Colo.; a sister, Gracia (Robert) Harris-Lee of Hutchinson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Gracie Harris; brothers, William Mansfield Harris and John
Andrew Harris; and sister, Marcia Maude Friend.

Hensley, Ellison Earle, 64, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 2000. Visitation with family

Mr. Hensley was born in Beatrice, Neb., on Sept. 23, 1936, the fourth child of Charles and Margaret Elizabeth Hensley.
He married Gwendolyn P. Marquardt on June 28, 1968 and was father to five children.
Mr. Hensley served in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1955-59.
He retired Dec. 31, 1998, as Butler County Undersheriff, after having served 15 years in law enforcement. Ten of
those years, he spent in the Butler County Sheriff's Department and five as Rose Hill Chief of Police. Prior to
this, he worked 22 years for the Rock Island Railroad in Kansas City and Wichita.
He enjoyed spending time with his children, children-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his wife's
family.
Preceded in death by his parents, one sister and his mother-in-law.

American Defense, European Theatre of Operation (with five stars), Victory ribbon, Occupation of Germany. He landed
on Utah Beach D+6, was in the Battle of Hurtgen Forrest and the Battle of the Bulge.

for Heaven on Tuesday, December 6, 2005. Tomie married Kathy (Owens) in August of 1979. He worked for Dillons as
a meat cutter for over 25 years, and spent the last year-and-a-half as the meat market manager at Mulvane. Tomie
took great pride in his position as drama director at Woodland Lakes Community Church, where he felt the Lord was
using him to win souls for Heaven. Visitation 6-8pm Thursday, December 8 at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary. Service
2pm Friday, December 9 at Woodland Lakes Community Church, 770 S. Greenwich. He is preceded in death by his father,
