DECATUR COUNTY, KANSAS HISTORY
Jennings, an incorporated city of the third class in Decatur county, is east of Oberlin, the county seat. It has a bank, a weekly newspaper (the Echo), express and telegraph offices and a money order postoffice with two rural routes. The population in 1910 was 259. The town was founded in 1888.
