STEPHENS, BESSIE FAYE

PIERCEVILLE - Bessie Faye Stephens, 86, died Jan. 25, 2000, at Hays Medical Center, Hays. She was a Haysresident since 1998, moving from Pierceville.

There will be a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Pierceville Cemetery, under the direction of Garnand Funeral Home, Garden City.
She was born July 6, 1913, at Cullison, the daughter of Clark P. and Maude Tillotson Swonger.
Survivors include: two daughters, Shirley Schaller, Dodge City, and Jan Lacy, Hays; three step-daughters, Norla Todd, Pierceville, Nannette Karnowski, Wamego, and Judy Stephens, Wichita.
