Virginia Lind Eastman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Eastman of Bucklin was married Sunday Aug. 4, to Preston H. Fletcher of Turon, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher of Bucklin. They will be at home in Turon after a wedding trip to Colorado.

Former Dodge City Couple Married at San Francisco.
Mrs. C. A. Hulpieu of Horton, a daughter of Capt. Misner of this place is visiting in Palo Alto, Calif. The two children of Frank Misner who have been living with Mrs. Hulpieu were taken to California by her. The Palo Altan published at Palo Alto states, that among the party which arrived with Mrs. Hulpieu from Kansas was Miss Leshure from Arkansas City, who was married upon her arrival at San Francisco to Mr. R. A. Stevens, an electrician at Palo Alto. All of the parties are known in Dodge City, having all lived here formerly. [The Globe-Republican.

A QUIET WEDDING
At the home of her brother, T. H. Edwards, 2822 E. Ninth St., Kansas City, August 23rd, at 8:30 p.m., occurred the marriage of Mrs. Jennie E. Welch of Dodge City to Mr. S. T. Williams of St. Joseph, Rev. C. Stewart of the M. E. church officiating. W. C. Edwards of Wichita was present. The bridal party left at 11:45 for St. Louis.
