The marriage of C. D'A. Bush, of Dodge City, and Miss Rachel Pennington of Garden City, occurred at the latter place last Sunday.  Mr. Bush is the well known proprietor of the Pioneer barber shop of this city.

Bride of Preston Fletcher

Virginia Lind Eastman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. D. Eastman of Bucklin was married Sunday Aug. 4, to Preston H. Fletcher of Turon, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Fletcher of Bucklin. They will be at home in Turon after a wedding trip to Colorado.

Married on Friday, the 6th inst., at the home of the bride, by Probate Judge Finley, W. P. Gray and Mrs. Kate Wortman. The parties went east on a short wedding trip. (The Globe-Republican, October 12, 1899)

A  QUIET  WEDDING

At the home of her brother, T. H. Edwards, 2822 E. Ninth St., Kansas City, August 23rd, at 8:30 p.m., occurred the marriage of Mrs. Jennie E. Welch of Dodge City to Mr. S. T. Williams of St. Joseph, Rev. C. Stewart of the M. E. church officiating.  W. C. Edwards of Wichita was present.  The bridal party left at 11:45 for St. Louis.
