Welcome to Kansas Trails' Gove County. Our goal is helping you find your ancestors by placing data online for the Free use of all researchers.  We are proud to expand Kansas with Gove County, providing our "experience" gained from years of researching our ancestors and website hosting.  We want to hear about you and the history of your ancestors from this beautiful State. Gove County was organized in 1886. It was named for Captain Grenville Gove, 11th Kansas Cavalry, killed in the Civil War. Gove is the county seat; besides the cities listed at the left, the community of Campus lies within the boundaries of Gove County.
