PERRY GIRL WEDS
Miss Hazel Huston Wedded to Mr. George C. Rhine
At the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Huston last evening at 5 o'clock, occurred the marriage of their daughter Hazel
A. to Mr. George C. Rhine of Gove, Kansas. The bride is one of Perry's best young women, and is well-known and
has a host of friends. Mr. Rhine is a man of rare accomplishments and good taste as is shown in the choice he has
made for his helpmate. The ring ceremony was performed by Rev. J. E. Treloar, pastor of the Baptist church. A goodly
number of friends and neighbors were present. A choice number of presents were given them, showing the high esteem
in which Miss Hazel was held. An elegant two course luncheon was served the guests. The bride and groom took the
evening train for their new home which the groom has prepared for his bride in Gove, Kansas, where they will be

FAMILIES ALL MIXED UP
Grainfield, Texas, celebrated unusual wedding when two sons and one daughter of one family married two daughters
and one son of another. An accompanying photograph shows Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wolf, Mr. and Mrs. George Meerian, and
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wolf, Jr. The money on the clothing of the couples was pinned there as wedding presents as they

BENTLEY, BENJAMAIN F ~ CAVANAUGH, KATHRYN
Married at Quinter, Kansas, on May 31 in the presence of only immediate relatives and friends Miss Kathryn Cavanaugh
to Mr. Benjamin F. Bentley. The bride was gowned in white silk and chiffon, she is a charming young lady who has
taught school in western Kansas for several years. The groom is a prosperous young cattleman of the Cottonwood
Valley and recently returned from overseas where he served as a Sergeant in the Army. The happy young couple spent
their honeymoon in Denver and other Colorado points and are now at home to their friends on their fine ranch near

CRABTREE, RAYMOND M. ~ FRANCY, ANNA
Miss Anna Francy of Quinter, Kansas, and Raymond M. Crabtree were united in marriage by the Rev. E. C. Mitchel
of the Reformed Presbyterian church at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Jane Francy, at Quinter, Kansas on
September 27, at 7 p.m. The bride was dressed in white satin and carried a bouquet of bridal roses. Following the
ceremony congratulations were extended by the guests. A wedding supper was served which was enjoyed by all. The
bride and groom were the recipients of many valuable gifts including silverware and many useful gifts for their
new home in Quinter, Kansas, on a farm. The bride's mother Mrs. Jane Fancy will be remembered by many as an old
time resident of Madison county, living near Livingston, Il. (Edwardsville Intelligencer, October 6, 1922, submitted
