Welcome to Kansas Trails' Greenwood County. Our goal is helping you find your ancestors by placing data online for the Free use of all researchers.  We are proud to expand Kansas with Greenwood County, providing our "experience" gained from years of researching our ancestors and website hosting.  We want to hear about you and the history of your ancestors from this beautiful State. Greenwood County was organized in 1862; it was named for Alfred B. Greenwood, who served as commissioner of Indian Affairs during territorial days.
