*"An Act granting Bounty Land to certain Officers and Soldiers who have been engaged in the Military Service of the United States, Warrant No. 6479 for 80 acres, issued in favor of Joseph Ray, Private in Captain Martin's Company, North Carolina Militia, War of 1812; having been duly assigned to Calvin J. Cowles. This patent is issued in lieu of one dated November 15, 1867 which has been cancelled because of an error in the description."

**"An Act granting Bounty Land to certain Officers and Soldiers who have been engaged in the Military Service of the United States, Warrant No. 70078 for 80 acres, issued in favor of Christopher Folkman; having been duly assigned to Michael McGuire. This patent is issued in lieu of one dated September 20, 1865 which has been cancelled because of an error in the description."
