*Whereas, pursuant to the Act of Congress, approved March 3, 1855, entitled “An Act in addition to certain Acts granting Bounty Land to certain Officers and Soldiers who have been engaged in the Military Service of the United States, there has been deposited in the General Land Office, Warrant No. 69184, for one hundred twenty acres, in favor of William Lacey, Private, Captain Hutt’s Company, Illinois Militia, Black Hawk War, with evidence that same has been duly located upon the west half of the northeast quarter and the southeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section fifteen in Township fifteen south of Range twenty five east of the Sixth Principle Meridian, Kansas; the said warrant having been duly assigned to James D. Poage, in whose favor said tract has been located.” >/>
