Nellie Miller, 80, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Mound City, died Friday, Feb. 23, at Cox Medical Center in Springfield.

Mrs. Miller was born May 27, 1898, in Mound City, the daughter of Isaac and Catherine Priest Van Gilder.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Cecil Foster of Mound City and Mrs. Gleda Jones of Blue Mound.

Services were at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Federated Church in Blue Mound with the Rev. Gary Carlson of Springfield officiating. Organ music was provided by Mrs. Cleta Horttor. Burial was in the Pleasant View Cemetery of Blue Mound under the direction of Fairchild?s Funeral Home of Mound City.
