Olpe, April 14- Mrs. Adelgrende Rathke, 84, who lived 8 1/2 miles southwest of Olpe, died at 9 o'clock this morning at her home. Funeral arrangements have not been made.

Olpe, Apr 15.- Funeral services for Mrs. Adelgrende Rathke, who lived 8 1/2 miles southwest of Olpe and who died Friday, will be Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral home. Pastor Barber, of Wichita, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the Olpe cemetery.
Mrs. Rathke was born in Russia on February 24, 1855. She was married to John Eidmann Rathke in Russia. She came from Russia to South Dakota in 1877, moved to California, and from there to Olpe in 1895. Her husband died in Olpe 31 years ago.
Surviving are five sons, Fredrick Rathke, John Rathke, Samuel Rathke, William Rathke, and Joseph Rathke, all of Olpe, and a daughter, Mrs. Albert Grampke, of Olpe; and 40 grandchildren and 53 great grandchildren. Mrs. Rathke was a member of the Lutheran Church at Olpe.

Funeral services for Mrs. Adelgrende Rathke, who died Friday at her home 8 miles southwest of Olpe, were held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Roberts-Blue chapel. Mr. Barber, of Wichita, was in charge of the service. E.J. Roberts and R.G. Roberts sang, accompanied by Mrs. Glenn A. Blue. Pallbearers were all grandsons of Mrs. Rathke. They were Edward, Oscar, Ernest, George, Arthur and B. Rathke. Burial was in the Olpe cemetery.

John Schroeder Dead

John Schroeder, sr., died this morning (Tuesday) morning at his home nine miles southwest of Olpe, cancer being the cause of his death. The funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Methodist Church in Olpe, with the Rev. Mr. Thayer of Abilene in charge of the services. Interment will be made in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery west of Olpe.

Mr. Schroeder came to Center Township from Germany 37 years ago. He was 75 years old.

Funeral services for John Schroeder, who died Tuesday were held this (Friday) afternoon at the Olpe Methodist Church. Rev. Thayer of Abilene preached the funeral sermon. Interment was made in the Pleasant Ridge cemetery west of Olpe. Sons and sons-in-law acted as pallbearers.

Mrs. Minnie Schroeder Dead.

Mrs. Minnie Schroeder, 76, died at 8 o'clock Monday night at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Fred Rathke, southwest of Olpe. Funeral arrangements have not been made. The casket will be open at the Roberts-Blue funeral chapel.

Mrs. Schroeder's maiden name was Miss Minnie Reamer. She was born March 17, 1866 in Germany, where she was married to John Schroeder 58 years ago. The family came to the United States in 1889, settling near Olpe, where Mr. Schroeder died July 14, 1925. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of the International Bible Students association. She is survived by four children. Mrs. Rathke and John Schroeder, Olpe; Mrs. Alice Kludas, and Carl Schroeder, Lincolnville.

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Schroeder, who died Monday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Fred Rathke, southwest of Olpe, were held at 2 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral home, followed by services at 3 o'clock at the Olpe Methodist Church. Rev. J. L. Thayer conducted the services and Mrs. Charles Chase, Mrs. Mervin Lambeth and Mrs. Thayer sang,
accompanied by Mrs. R. M. Irwin. Interment was in the Olpe cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Rathke, Fred Kludas, John Schroeder, Carl Schroeder, Walter Schroeder, and Arthur Rathke.

John T. Schroeder Dead

John T. Schroeder, 218 State St., a retired farmer, died Saturday morning in Newman Memorial County Hospital.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.R. Aschbrenner, pastor of the Messiah Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery southwest of Olpe.

John Schroeder was born July 4th, 1875, in Mecklenburg, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, the son of John and Minnie Hines Schroeder, and came with his parents to the Olpe community in 1887. He was married to Regina Rathke Nov. 1st, 1900, in Olpe. He had been a resident of Emporia since 1947, and he was a member of the Messiah Lutheran Church. He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons, Carl and Ernest, and he is survived by four sons, Walter, of 5 South Merchant St.; Ben, of Olpe; Fred, of 418 Constitution St., and Sam, of Madison; four daughters, Mrs. J.C. Kettner, 915 Prairie St., Mrs. Clare Robertson, Chanute; Mrs. Frank Ohm, 406 Constitution St., and Mrs. C. L. Davis, 1006 Congress St.; one brother, Carl, of California; one sister, Mrs. Alvina Kludas, of New York, 28 granchildren and 50 great grandchildren.

An incorrect list of the survivors of John T. Schroeder appeared in the obituary in the Monday edition of The Gazette. Mr. Schroeder is survived by four sons, four daughters and one sister, Mrs. Fred Rathke, 122 West St. There are also several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and two sons and by a brother and sister. Carl Schroeder and Alvina Kludas who were inadvertently mentioned as survivors.

Funeral services for John T. Schroeder, 218 State St., who died Saturday in Newman Memorial County Hospital, were held Tuesday afternoon in Roberts-Blue-Barnett Chapel, conducted by the Rev. A.R. Kettner and Gilbert R., Edgar, Dale G. and Darrell Schroeder. Burial was in the Zion Lutheran cemetery southwest of Olpe.

Mrs. Schroeder Dies
Mrs. John T. Schroeder, age 51 years, died at 4:20 o'clock Thursday morning at the Newman Hospital in Emporia, where she had been a patient for two weeks. She is survived by her husband, John T. Schroeder, and nine children.
The funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Zion Lutheran church southwest of Olpe. A short service will be held at 1:30 O'clock at the Dumm funeral home in Emporia. The services will be conducted by Rev. Gerhard Miessler, pastor of the Messiah Lutheran church of Emporia.
Interment will be made in the Rosenberg cemetery which is the churchyard cemetery of the Zion Lutheran church southwest of Olpe.

Mrs. John T. Schroeder.

Mrs. John T. Schroeder, who died December 6 at the Newman Memorial County hospital, was born September 9, 1877, in South Dakota. Her maiden name was Regana Rathke, being the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rathke. She moved with her parents to a farm near Olpe in 1895.

She was married to John T. Schroeder, of Olpe, November 1, 1898. Nine children, all of whom survive. Mrs. Schroeder is survived by her husband, John T. Schroeder, five sons, Walter, Benjamin, Carl, Fritz, and Sam; four daughters. Mrs. Nettie Kettner, and Clara, Gladys and Leona all of the home at Olpe, her mother, Mrs. J.E. Rathke, of Olpe, one sister, Mrs. Della Gamke, of Olpe, and five brothers, Fred, Sam, Joseph, John and William Rathke, all of Olpe.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon from the Zion Lutheran church, six miles southwest of Olpe. A short service was held at 1:30 o'clock from the Dumm funeral home in Emporia. Rev. R. Miessler, pastor of the Messiah Lutheran church in Emporia, conducted the services. Interment was in Rosenberg cemetery, six miles southwest of Olpe.
The five sons of Mrs. Schroeder were pallbearers.
