COLLINGWOOD, THOMAS ~ TRONSDALE, ALICE

Married --- On October 7, 1878, the undersigned was called to Reno county, to the residence of Mr. Wm. Clark, where Mr. Robert R. Rea and Miss Ada M. Clark were united in holy wedlock, in the presence of seventy-five or eighty persons. After the ceremony was over, we were all invited to surround a table fairly burdened with substantials and delicacies. All seemed to enjoy themselves, for we had a regular, old-fashioned wedding dinner. Mr. Clark intended his friends and neighbors should have a good time at his daughter's wedding and his intentions were well carried out. They came with horse teams, mule teams and ox teams, had a jolly good time and went away happy.

In the evening of the same day, at the house of Mr. T. Tronsdale, in Kingman county, where Mr. Thomas Collingwood, of Reno county, and Miss Alice Tronsdale, of this county, were united in matrimony in the presence of quite a jovial company of fifteen or twenty persons. A real pleasant time. So it goes in droughty Kansas, and still they come. --- Rev. H. White, in the Pratt County Press.
