BOYER, SON Two weeks ago Friday evening, Mrs. Boyer, of Scott City, accompanied by her father and her children, arrived in town, and stopped at Peter Weber's. Mrs. Boyer's home is in Scott City and it was there that she was going from a visit somewhere to the east or northeast. A boy of hers, ten years of age, was sick with inflammation of the bowels. he lingered until last Monday, when he died. The remains were properly packed and taken to Scott City for interment. Mr. Boyer had been telegraphed to at Scott City and he ame here while his son was sick. We understand that the eating of sorghum was the cause of this child's death. He had swallowed, not merely the juice, but considerable quantities of the stalk.
