RILEY, DANIEL F. ~ HULSE, WINNIE B.

Last evening at 419 South Lawrence Avenue, Daniel F. Riley and Winnie B. Hulse were married by Rev. David Winters. The happy couple and friends sat down to a sumptuous repast at the conclusion of the ceremony. They will shortly leave for Dallas, Tex., which will be their future home. GRIMES, C. A. ~ BLISS, ELLA F.

Last evening at the residence of the bride's parents, 421 North Main street, Lieutenant C. A. Grimes and Ella F. Bliss were united in marriage, Judge Buckner officiating. The ceremony was perfomred at 8 o'clock in the presence of a few initimate friends, after which an elegant supper was spread. The happy couple was the recipients of a number of beautiful presents and congratulations from a host of friends. (Wichita Daily Eagle, March 19, 1890)

SHAFER, ELMER ~ PALMER, VALLIRA

Last evening at the parsonage, the Rev. L. W. Bicknell officiating, Mr. Elmer Shafer and Miss Vallira Palmer both of West Wichita, were united in marriage. A few friends were present to wish the happy couple long life and prosperity. They will make their future home in this city where they have many friends. (Wichita Daily Eagle, March 20, 1890)

Married - Yesterday evening at the Logan hotal by Rev. Samuel L. Hamilton, Mr. Bryce L. McCandless and Miss Lulu D. Gibbs, both of this city. (Wichita Daily Eagle, March 20, 1890)

CHARLES, U. G. ~ YAZEL, ROSA M.

Married by the Rev. R. T. Savin at the Methodist parsonage, on Monday, March 16 at 5 p.m. Mr. U. G. Charles and Miss Rosa M. Yazel, both of Wichita. A reception was tendered by her parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Yazel at their home, corner Third street and Sherman avenue. Among those present were Mrs. Charles, mother of the groom, Mr. and Mrs. James Charles, Mark and Frankie, Misses Augusta and Mary Charles, Mr. Casius Charles, Mr. Charles Yazel, Masters Jimmie Yazel, Johnnie and Eddie Charles, Mrs. M. L. Riggs, and daughter, Grace, Mrs. Dunn and son, Freddie, Mr. and Mrs. F. E. Munson and little Emma, Mr. and Mrs. F. B. Fogg, Misses Allie Dodge, Minnie and Alma Kramer, Messrs. MARRIAGE  LAST  NIGHT

B. W. Daniels and Mrs. Ella Devole Are Wed

Mr. B. W. Daniels and Mrs. Ella Devole were united in marriage last evening at 7:30 o'clock, the ceremony taking place at the home of the groom, 251 North Topeka avenue.  The ceremony was pronounced by Judge Enoch in a very pleasing style.  The bride is an accomplished trained nurse.  Mr. Daniels is an old resident of Wichita, having been in the mercantile business here for several years.

WILLIAMS, JOHN  ~  ARMOUR, MAGGIE

On Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock Mr. John Williams of this city and Miss Maggie Armour were married at the home of the parents of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. James Armour, in Harper county near Bentley.  After the ceremony the happy couple left on their wedding tour, and after a week or so, will return to this city, where they will move into the handsome residence on North Lawrence avenue, which Mr. Williams purchased some time ago.  The bride is a well known and handsome young lady  and is much beloved by all who know her.  Mr. John Williams is well known in this city and is a member of the well known live stock commission firm of Billings & Williams.  Mr. Williams is especially well known and very popular at the stock yards.  He is a genial whole souled young man, always courteous.  He is an excellent business man and his many friends all join in wishing Mr. and Mrs. John Williams a happy and prosperous married life, and if they are favored with but a small part of the good wishes of their friends, they will be happy indeed.

TINDALL, JAMES ~ BUCKMASTER, NANCY

Aug. 4, at 4 p.m., at Pastor Sims' residence, James Tindall was united in marriage to Miss Nancy Buckmaster.  Quite a number of friends witnessed the ceremony.  The young couple left on the evening train for a brief trip south.  Joy and success go with them.

HARRIS, ERNEST ~ McPHERSON, MARTHA

Last evening, at the residence of Pastor Sims, Mr. Ernest Harris and Miss Martha McPherson were united in marriage.  Only a few friends were present.  The young people expect to make Wichita their home and start on the journey of life with the well wishes of all.
