The records at Mt. Hope are under "Kelly" but cross-ref'd to Girndt. She was born in Newton, Harvey Co., Kansas and died in Richmond, Ft. Bend Co., Texas (near Houston). Parents: Robert Paul Girndt & Murrel Leta Young. Husbands: 1st. (Div) Jack Roberts Nelson, 2 children: Terry & Dian; 2nd (Div): Robert Joseph Barrus, 2 children - twins: Bob & Joe; 3rd (Wd): Robt. E. Duncan; 4th (Wid.) Wm. Dennis Kelly. Excellent seamstress. Sewed many clothes for my sister and me. Had her own show for Pfaff on TV about 1956. | |||
