Pioneer Buried With His Hat On
Pineville, Ky.-John C. Robbins, 83, a pioneer of the hill country, is dead, and his last wishes regarding his burial have been carried out. Robbins requested that he be buried with his hat on and wearing the shoes he had worn for several years. Robbins was a noted game hunter. [December 27, 1926, Ironwood Daily Globe, Ironwood Michigan]
