John C. Barnett to William Holland This Indenture made and entered into this Nov 12th, 1881 between J.C. Barnett of the County of Calloway & State of Ky of the on part to Wm Holland of the County and State fore said of the other part witness that the said Barnett for and in consideration of Fifty three Dollars $53.00 in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and sold and by these presents doth sell and convey unto the said Holland one piece of land lying in Calloway County Ky on Wild Cat Creek & bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a Rock the North West corner of the North West of section Thirty (30) Township 2 Range 6 East running South 21 1/3 pools to a stake thence East 22 ½ pools to a stakethence North 21 1/4 pools to a stake thence West 22 ½ pools to the containing three acres to have and to hold to the said Holland & his heirs and assigns forever with a Deed of general warrantee In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand with Pokey P. Barnett my wife who hereby relinquishes her right of Dower in and to the land conveyed in this Deed Given under our hands the day and date above written. J.C. Barnett & Poky P. Barnett State of Kentucky Calloway County. I J.N. Williams clerk of the Calloway County Court certify that the foregoing Deed from J.C. Barnett to Wm Holland was on the 19th day of November 1881 acknowledged by J.C. Barnett and Poky P. Barnett to be their act and deed before my deputy W.M. Nix as appears from said deputy’s endorsement thereon to witness Acknowledgment before me this Nov 19th 1881 by J.C. Barnett & Poky P. Barnett his wife attest J.N. Williams clerk By W. M.
