J. J. Jones of Calloway County, is dead from the effects of a blow alleged to have been delivered by C. V. Ezell, a tobacco buyer of this city, a few weeks ago. Jones, it is charged, was knocked out of his wagon by Ezell and received injuries which caused his death. He had entered suit against Ezell for $ 5,000 damages.
