Louisville, Ky- April 28, An injuction suit was filed in the district court today seeking to enjoin Elwood Hamilton,Collactor of Internal Revenue,from collecting 4,364.31 (hard to make out amount)from S. A. Douglas, farmer of Calloway County, on whose farm a still had been seized. Douglas had been sentenced to forty-five days in jail for operation of the still. The injunction is sought upon the ground that the Internal Revenue law providing penaltlies was amended by the Volstead Prohibition Act. The action follows the favorable decision recently given by Judge Evans to a similar case.
