Volunteers Dedicated to Putting Free Data Online!

Welcome to this Louisiana Genealogy Trails Website.

This is a new site and we hope to add as much data here as we can that will help Louisiana researchers track their family lines.

We need some help to do that though - my name is Janice and I am your host of Louisiana, we are in need of  county coordinators for the parish websites. If you can make a basic webpage, and you have a desire to transcribe data for the free use of all researchers, we can use your talents!
Review our
Volunteer Information and email Kim.

We regret that we are unable to perform personal research.
We are volunteers, that spend what spare time we have transcribing data to place on this site. You can help us however by donating information to help this site grow.

WHO DAT!! HOW BOUT DEM SAINTS!!

If you would like to submit data to be added to this site email me and I will gladly have it posted for you.
In the meantime,
join our mailing list to be kept apprised of updates to this website.

Submit  an Obituary here and I will gladly post it!!!!!

State Bird: Brown Pelican

Give me Louisiana,
The state where I was born
The state of snowy cotton,
The best I've ever known;
A state of sweet magnolias,
And Creole melodies
Oh give me Louisiana,
The state where I was born
Oh what sweet old memories
The mossy old oaks bring
It brings us the story of our Evangeline
A state of old tradition,
of old plantation days
Makes good old Louisiana
The sweetest of all states.
[State Song]
