The

were
yesterday
thrown
in a
state of
excitement
because
of a

that
took

between

named
Gustave
Victor
and
Jacquot
Jean
Louis.
They had
a

several

the
affair
culminated
yesterday

by a

at the

spot of
Edgar.
They
were
accompanied
by their
seconds,
who
brought
with
them
double
barreled
shot
guns.
Honor
had to
be
appeased,
so two
shots
were
exchanged.
Neither
suffered
injury.
The
seconds
declared
that
honor
had been
satisfied,
and the
affair
ended in
the
usual
manner.
