from January to June, 1903
It may be interesting to many people to know just how far mob violence has gone and at what a rapid pace it is going. The Striker has kept a fairly good record of the number of men who have lost their lives at the hands of a mob since January 1, 1903. Up to July 1, 1903, there have been 48 men laid to rest in the silent tomb by lawless men. The South alone has furnished 44.
