Two years ago on March 1, 2006, our Illinois Trails volunteers decided to expand their
genealogical horizons and spread their talents out to try and do for the rest of the
country what we had been doing for our Illinois sites for seven years.
The response to our efforts has been very gratifying and we thank you
researchers for sticking with us and having faith in us and what we're trying to
do.
We are now starting to fill our websites with data and we welcome your data contributions to help us!
Search your attics and basements for old
obituaries, marriage notices, family bibles, old family histories - send us the data
from the original records you found in courthouses while researching your
family .... your census data, marriage /birth /death/cemetery records...
Anything YOU used to put together your family tree (though please don't send the
trees themselves or gedcoms)
