In the Name of God Amen The twenty Eight day of Ocr one thous­and Seven Hundred & Sixty Six I Joseph Young of Pownalborough in the County of Lincoln & Province of the Massachusetts bay in New England Yeoman Weak in Body but of Perfect mind & memory thanks be given unto God therefore Calling unto mind the Mortality of my Body and knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to die do make and Ordain this my last will and Testament that is to Say Principaly and first of all I Give and Recomend my Soul into the Hands of God that gave it & as f or my Body I Recomend it to the Erth to Buried in a Christian like & I decent Manner at the Discration of my Executors nothing Doubting but at the General Resurection I shall Recive the same again by the Mighty Power of God—And as touching such World­ly goods & Estate wherewith it hath Pleased God to bless me in this life I Give Devise and Dispose of the Same in the following Manner and form—
Imprimus I make Constitute & Ordain my Sons Isaac & Joshua Young Executors of this my last will & Testament which I Confirm & no Other
2ly I give and bequeath unto my Eldest son Joseph Young of s'd Pownalborough all that tract of Land in s'd Town that he hath now in Posation whare he now lives
3ly I give and Devise unto Isaac & Joshua Young my Sons & Execu­tors as aforesaid all the Remaining Part of my land in Pownalborough aforesaid to be Equally Divided betwixt them after my Discese
4ly I give and Devise unto Thomas Young Son of my Son Thomas Young late of Pownalborough Dec's'd twenty Shillings to be Paid out of my Personal Estate by my Executors & as to the Rest of my Per­sonal Estate I give & Devise unto my two Daughters Viz Sarah Holbrook the Wife of Rich'd Holbrook & Anna Pearce the Wife of John Perce both of the Town aforesaid to be Equally Divided betwixt them
