BECKETT, Capt. John, and Susan N. BLAKE, 4th daughter of Col. Joseph BLAKE, all of Calvert Co., Md., were married in Calvert Co., Md., Feb. 17 by the Rev. Mr. Allen.

BOWEN-MONNETT

Wedding Mildred Elizabeth Monnett and James Bowen
A quiet but pretty wedding took place at the Methodist Parsonage in Prince Frederick, Saturday, February 15th, at 8 P.M., when Miss Mildred Elizabeth Monnett daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Monnett of Adelina, became the bride of James Bowen of Barstow. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Melvin A. Baker. The bride was attired in an afternoon dress of Cadet Blue with matching accessories and wore a wreath of Orange blossoms. She carried pink snapdragons and sweet peas. Mrs. Hodges Monnett, sister-in-law of the bride was Matron of Honor and wore Old Rose gown with matching accessories. Hodges Monnett, brother of the bride was ??????... happy couple are residing at the home of the groom.
