Caroline County Crime News

The notorious villain, who lately shot Judge Robins, near Denton, in the state of Maryland, named Warrilow, and for whose apprehension 500 dollars was offered by the Sheriff of Caroline county, was apprehended on Monday the 14th ult. on Nott’s Island, on the borders of N. Carolina, by Messrs. Jones & Moffat, of Norfolk. They brought him to that borough in irons, on the Thursday morning following, and put him on board one of the Eastern Shore packets for the purpose of conveying him to the state of Maryland; but on Thursday night he made his escape, not withstanding he had irons on his legs. He passed on the island by the name of George Waller, where he was on the point of being married to a genteel young woman.
