Welcome to the Genealogy Trails website for Cecil County.

Currently we are looking for a County Host for this website. Our goal is to help you track your ancestors through time by transcribing genealogical and historical data and placing it online for the free use of all researchers.

This is a continuation of our original Illinois Trails History and Genealogy Group and we are excited about this opportunity to expand into other states. We welcome your feedback/comments and your data contributions.

We're looking for folks who share our dedication to putting data online and are interested in helping this project be as successful as it can be.

If you are interested in hosting this county website please view the Volunteer Page for further information and contact US.

We regret that we have no time to perform personal research for anybody.

Cecil County is a county located in the U.S. state of Maryland. It is part of the Delaware Valley metropolitan area.
