ALLSTON.  On August 20, at 4 A. M., at the residence of Captain K. K. Roestrup[?], No. 244 South Chester[?] street, JOHN T. H., aged 27 years, beloved husband of Jennie Allston, and son of Captain John J. and the late Kate Allston.

Funeral services at his late residence, Great Mills, St. Mary's county, Md., this Friday afternoon.

ALLSTON.  On August 20, JOHN T. H., aged 27 years, beloved husband of Jennie Allston, and son of Captain J. J. Allston, of Great Mills, St. Mary's county, Md.

Interment at Poplar Hill, St. Mary's county, Md.

CARROLL, Capt. Michael B., late of the U. S. Navy, died in St. Mary's Co., Md., Oct. 29, age about 63. He entered the Naval service early in life. When a midshipman and the Barbary Powers were committing acts against our commerce, he was among a fleet sent into the Mediterranean, under Decatur, to destroy the Philadelphia, under the battlements of Tripoli. (Nov. 7 [1831])
