Easton, Md., April 25 [1823]
The hail storm which visited us on Sunday evening last, we are sorry to learn did considerable damage in the vicinity
of this town. In some places the wheat was literally cut up by the roots, and an immense quantity of window glass
broken. In one house alone nearly two hundred lights were destroyed. Many of the hail stones, it is said, were
