Messrs. Leland, Morse & Co., with the grist mill attached

buildings, a considerable quantity of yarn and cloth was also
destroyed. The fire originated in the picking room, probably from
the passing some hard substance through the picker. Loss estimated
at $14,000. – Prov. Journal. [submitted by Nancy Piper]
