When this photo was taken, Mrs. Alma R. Small was postmaster. She became postmaster on July 1, 1928 and was succeeded by Mrs. Phyllis Crowell on September 30, 1959.
The Curran, MI Post Office was established on April 28, 1890 with Edward Cunning as its first postmaster.
Discontinued operation on September 12, 1890; mail service to Potts. Reestablished on October 10, 1890 with John S. Fullerton as postmaster.

The Curran Post Office is still operational using zip code 48728
