"Michigan Trails" Through "Chippewa County"

Only the valiant and strenuous efforts of Rudyard men and women saved the Presbyterian Church from destruction by fire Friday afternoon.
Fighting for more than an hour flames which broke out on the roof of the church building on Main Street, the fighters succeeded in saving the building and manse with only a $500 loss to the roof. At one time the situation was so serious that abandoning the structure to the flames was considered.
