The Freighter Stewart J. Cort & Soo Locks (1970s).

View from the International Bridge of the largest ore hauling freighter on the Great Lakes leaving the Soo Locks. The superfreighter is 1,000 feet long (longer than 3 football fields stretched end to end) & 105 feet wide. It can travel 16 miles per hour, and carry more than 52,000 ton loads. The ship is owned by Bethlehem Steel Corp.
