  Merle Scott Brood
Merle Scott Brood served his country well in the United States Army, 164th Infantry, American Division in the South Pacific during World Ward II, achieving rank of Staff Sergeant.

He saw action at Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He was stationed at Fort Ord, California in 1945.

  Ralph Milligan
Ralph Milligan served his country from September 23, 1942 to September 27, 1945. He was stationed in the Northern Solomon Islands, the Bismarck Archipelago and New Guinea.

Ralph Milligan received the Air Medal with Oak Leaf cluster, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal and the Distinguished Flying Cross. He was with the AAF 43rd Bomb Group (Ken's Men) and a member of Joe's Crew, flew a B-24 Liberator.
